#bookreview Written in Starlight Isabel Ibañez I loved reading Woven In Moonlight last year. Ximena's character was very beautiful and the story was heart warming. At the ending, I think all readers wanted another part for a character that was important but remained secondary in that book. This book is about that character, Catalina. Her journey through a jungle and finding herself. The book was beautiful, albeit a little slow. But Catalina did not touch my heart the way Ximena did. Her character development was almost at the end. I was mostly angry on her and another character Manuel. For this reason I like the first book more. But the story and description of jungle, of gods and goddesses, of the people who live in a lost city was extremely beautiful. My most favourite character in this book was Chaska. She was mature, understanding , knowledgable.
