Day 13: Birds Of A Feather — Princess Isabelle x Princess Audrey
“So, what do you know about them?” Evie asked, looking towards the two giggling girls at the front of the room.
“Princess Isabelle and Princess Audrey,” Doug answered. “Isabelle is Ben’s sister, and Audrey is Aurora’s daughter. Co-Captains of the cheerleading squad, top students, media darlings... They have the world in their hands, everyone worships them, but they don’t really talk to us normal folk.”
Evie sighed dreamily. “Must be nice.”
“Try lonely,” Lonnie interjected from across the table. “It’s hard for either of them to know who’s friends with them because they like them and who just wants the status. Especially for Is, since everyone wants access to Ben, too.”
“I never thought of it like that,” Evie admitted.
“Most people don’t,” Lonnie shrugged. “But that’s why they tend to stick to each other. It’s safer to avoid being used, and they don’t need anyone but each other.”
