You should post everything you posted on this blog about randelle and your other ocs on your oc blog for easy access... Not for me to read or anything. Just for in general. o3o
i WILLL the tricky thing is that i cannot remember what i said about his character other than the basics… like he has a grandmother, is from mondstadt. i have to dig out our convos and consolidate everything!

It's not exactly the same thing, but it reminds me that I often get stuck between two choices and never know which one to do? So I ask people what they think I should do, and that usually leads to me going with the other choice haha. Like when they say their opinion, it helps solidify in my head what I truly want.
my reply got a little long so it's UTC.
@isekyaaa replied to your post “if i were the cause of an invasive culture shift...”:
What's Twitter mutual culture...? :0
tbvh, i wish i can explain it coherently but all i can say is that twitter's mutual culture feels very performative. especially when follower count is shown (aka everyone knows you're mutuals with someone) on twitter.
one example i can say i've not seen going around tumblr until much later but i've seen on twitter is this idea of "softblock"/"hardblock" to break mutualship.
on tumblr i think if you don't want to see someone's post on your dash you'll just unfollow. like, i follow someone as i like their content and i want to see it on my dash.
note that on twitter, you have the option to mute an account meaning you can be mutuals but not see them on your dash at all. you can't really do that for tumblr so a follow is more treasured. at least, that's how i feel.
if they were to follow me back then i assume they do so because they like my content. if for some reason a mutual of mine doesn't like what i post, by all means they can unfollow but i won't unfollow if i still like what they post. and i won't see their unfollow as a "break of friendship" or "mutualship". maybe they're just not into the things i'm reblogging but we're still friends.
idk. i don't like the pressure "following" someone has now a days. or how heavy a follow is. it's not something to analyse. "oh, they stopped following me :( i guess i'm never going to speak to them ever again" or "OMG?? i didn't know i wasn't following you back??? we've been interacting for 4 months and i just noticed" like i don't care. follow if you want to but you've already been listed in my list of friends since the moment you said "hi".
like. when did mutual become a hard synonym for friends? i can still be your friend even if we're not following each other???
i might be wrong though. i wrote this post quite a while back and i haven't really thought about it much ever since i left the post in queue.
but just note i will never call anyone a mutual. i will only call them what they are: a friend. it's just my own values and how i feel towards this topic which i believe twitter cultivated and brought into tumblr.
if someone doesn’t want to talk to me or be my friend they should do it behind closed doors and basically confront me about it rather than using indirect ways to tell me so.
