"Iseult?"

Philip was good at parties as a general rule, and this one was no exception. It was odd, in a way, having the whole crew of three Normandys hanging out together in the same apartment, but a good kind of odd, a much-needed evening of camaraderie in the face of the increasingly wearing battles they were all facing. He, certainly, had needed the break, and he could tell the rest of the crew was enjoying the ease in tension.

He hadn't seen hide nor hair of Iseult since the party started, though. His cousin and fellow Spectre was hardly particularly jovial in the day to day and he had been hoping that she more than most would benefit from the period of relaxation, but to the contrary, she had disappeared as the guests had started arriving and left him to juggle food preparations and making sure everything went smoothly. At first he'd thought she just didn't want to do the organizational work, but in fact she seemed to have disappeared altogether.

A little searching had finally revealed her hiding spot; the rear "library" of the apartment -- or, as Philip had mentally dubbed it, the comm room -- was locked, and Glyph confirmed cheerfully that Iseult had shut herself in there a few hours before.

"Iseult-- are you in there?" he called quietly through the door, though he already knew perfectly well she was. "What's up?"

[ I've cried the majority of my frustrations out since then. The next day my parents' house got buried under a foot of snow and the power went out for a while! IT HAS BEEN A VERY FUN WEEK! ^_^ ]
