ISFP Functions Throughout a Bad Day
MORNING
Fi: Hmm, things don't quite feel right today.
Se: It'll be fine, we're just having a rough start to the day, don't sweat it.
Ni: But what if this continues throughout the day?? We need to be ready for this mentally.
Te: We have our to-do list, so as long as we stick to that and get things done we're good.
AFTERNOON
Fi: Guys, I'm getting really frustrated. Things have been getting worse and people are starting to notice our mood.
Se: I'm sorry, I can't help it that I want to slump my shoulders and drag my feet a bit...I tried faking a smile, but people are pretty quick and notice the difference between our real smile and a fake one.
Ni: Well if we didn't make poor choices and stuck with what we knew would work out then we wouldn't be in this mess would we? You all don't listen to me nearly as much as you should.
Te: As long as we look put-together on the outside nobody has to know we're falling apart! Quick, give me that wipe-off marker so I cAN MAKE SURE WE GET OUR TASKS DONE ABOVE ALL ELSE!!
EVENING
Fi: Well, that was awful. I feel like a terrible human being who can't get their life together. I don't want to talk about this until later when it's all behind me.
Se: We need to just go to bed really early. If we're asleep, we won't feel so down. Rest is a beautiful thing, right Ni?
Ni: Hm, yes I would agree.... however, even though we'll go to bed at 8, I'm going to keep us up until 1am simply thinking about why this all happened and how to prevent it so we don't have to go through a day like this again.
Te: I'll grab my journal so we can do it together!!!
