NOT-A-TIARA ALERT: Isha Ambani wore a replica of the Maharaja of Nawanagar's famous necklace for the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on 5 May 2025.
The original necklace was made by Cartier in 1931 for the Maharaja of Nawanagar. It included a 26 carat blue diamond, a 12 carat green diamond, and the 136 carat Queen of Holland diamond.
But you may know the necklace better as the Toussaint aka the necklace stolen from the Met Gala in Ocean's 8. Cartier recreated the original necklace using zirconium and named it after the jewelry designer, Jeanne Toussaint, for the film.
I don't know which jeweler recreated the necklace for the Ambani family but I have no doubt that it is made with real diamonds.
