There's light in Ishibina's blood, but she's born to the shadows and she hasn't forgotten it. Ostensibly she's only in Ista temporarily, for research purposes, but Farshantir and Kandofri think there's something far more sinister on her mind...
Ishibina came to Ista looking for the world her mother had always spoken of: the peace, the shifting waters. She came looking for the seers, too. Though her mother had never shown any signs of Sight, she believed strongly in those who claimed to and put great store by their words. Though she loved and respected her mother, Ishibina had always found her belief embarrassing. Though she was shadow born, Ishibina has light in her blood, and knowledge is her first and foremost love. She spends her time in Ista buried in notes and scrolls and parchments. She sleeps and eats in the archives themselves, with special permission from Adhara, and regularly fights with the archival guardians, Farshantir and Kandofri. Apparently neither of them have enough light in their blood to justify their positions in her eyes. After all, how could a water dragon and a lightning dragon with watery pretensions possibly know how to care for relics and parchments properly? .
