IDK, it looks like animation variants in different materials of black to me, like kevlar vs nylon vs cotton-based materials vs plasticized/reinforced elements. Looks black! Very, very different from the greens (even the darkest ones) on Gar?

his boots are a darker shade too though, the same colour of the cape though different fabric material

I looooooooved Pitch Black, loved Riddick as a character. Chronicles turning him into the last living of a race of Space Spartans? No thank you. I liked him because he was a uniquely twisted, driven human and I feel like they stripped that away in the sequel.
