Haus of Alex Character Portrait: Ishiro

Ishiro is the seventh and last model added to the Haus (so far, more guys will inevitably join). He's the resident party boy. Clubs, parties, hang outs, anywhere that a group of people are having a good time, it's likely that you'll find Ishiro. But that doesn't mean he's lazy. He learned early on that partying is more fun when you have some money. So his main motivation for working is funding his lifestyle. Unlike Corbyn, he prefers the stability of working for the same place for a long time. So for a while he worked retail in an electronics store, before he left that job to join his best friend Connor's car repair shop.

Ishiro has an uncomplicated, laid-back, easy-going personality. If he lived by the ocean, he'd probably be a surfer. And if it was the 60s, he'd probably be a skateboarder. One of those laid-back kind of activities, where you can be secretly really passionate, while still acting cool and aloof. Instead he frequents parties, and likes to tinker with robotics. His time working for Connor taught him that he likes to build things with his hands, so Connor gifted him with a Lego robotics kit one Christmas. By the next winter, Ishiro was buying himself Arduino kits. Ishiro doesn't think of himself as a particularly smart guy, but there's no denying that he has a knack for electronics, especially robotics. If he spent less time partying and more time working with them, he probably could make something really cool. Ishiro was recommended to the Haus by Connor shortly after Connor was recruited. He loved the idea from the start because it sounded like the perfect work-life balance for his partying lifestyle. Nikolai wasn't sure about hiring him, worried that he was too laid-back to take jobs seriously, but Alexandra liked him. They put him on a month-long trial period, and hired him officially as soon as it was over. Ishiro may enjoy hanging out and having fun, but he knows how to focus and put in the work to be a good employee. He's also always on time, which tends to surprise people. Ishiro's favorite Haus member is Connor, who he's been best friends with since childhood. His second favorite Haus member is Corbyn, because he likes to have a good time, too. He doesn't have a least favorite Haus member, but he does always try to sit up a little straighter and be extra polite when Nikolai is around. He knows Nikolai doesn't approve of his constant partygoing, and there's a bit of tension between them as a result. Ishiro isn't romantically interested in anyone in the Haus, but at the clubs he's happy to spend time with guys or girls. But he's never had a serious relationship with either.
