(Get to know me) Yu-Gi-Oh! version
No.4 Â Â - Favorite Yu-Gi-Oh villain
Seto Kaiba, of course.  When you meet him in the manga, he definitely qualifies as a villain.  But from the moment you meet him, there’s an intensity to him, a sense that there’s a lot more going on under the surface than you’re seeing.  As I followed him through the rest of the story, I found myself thinking back to the early manga and understanding more of what went on there and why with each episode.
No. 8  - That character(s) that you just can’t hate no matter how much you try
This is going to sound awful, because he’s basically a scared, lonely 10-year old who died, but when Noa is first introduced I really hated him.  Cruelty is probably the vice I dislike the most and Noa had that in abundance.  It took until midway through the arc for me to really start to see him not just as a child, but as a doomed child as well, and then by the end of the arc I dissolved into a sobbing mess. Â
No. 9 Â - Favorite relationship/friendship (in general)
Well, if we’re including headcanon, prideshipping (lol).  Even without headcannon, I really love the dynamic between the two of them, how it’s this complex mix of rivalry, genuine anger, respect and a hesitant, fragile trust and ultimately, friendship and understanding.  I like how Kaiba is often the person Yami needs to keep fighting, and how Yami is the first person to be truly interested in Kaiba’s welfare, who really wants to see him reach that true future he’s aiming for.
No.15 - Favorite went bad character
Pegasus.  I find all of Pegasus’ affectations hilarious, from his over the top comments to the way he draws out the “o” in Kaiba-boy just to annoy him.  But in contrast to his flat-out entertainment value, there’s also real cruelty to his actions.  There’s the sense that having been the victim of fate, he really enjoys making other people feel as helpless and despairing as he does.  If misery loves company, Pegasus wants Yugi and (especially) Kaiba to share his. Â
His actions – and the glee he takes in the pain he’s causing – are completely detestable, making him a good villain.  At the same time, I’m really glad that you get some closure on his story, that you understand him better, that even in the manga, he tries to make amends and offers an explanation for how he went so badly wrong.  Even more, you get the sense that he realizes not only how horrific his actions were, but that in his drive to find his lost love, he ended up dishonoring her memory instead.
No.16 - Your favorite  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) moment/scene
My favorite moment is probably from the duel with Isis where Kaiba is about to call on Obelisk to attack and then sacrifices him for his Blue Eyes White Dragon, changing his destiny in the process.  I love the duel because it’s so rare that Kaiba gets to be the hero and his point of view gets to carry the day.  But I love that his message - that people have not only the right but the responsibility to determine their own path - is the one that wins.  Yes, he’s seeing visions of the past, but he’s the one deciding to follow their cryptic message.  And the anime sequence is just so lovely.  I like that they let the music and the pictures carry the story, leading up to the moment when he summons his dragon and tells it to tear open his future.
