I didn’t think noon would ever get here. Monday is dragging for sure and yeah, I’ve done nothing but drink coffee and a little filing. The hubs has a meeting with a previous employer tonight who is trying to get him to come back to work for them. Long story short, they allowed a prima donna to dictate how things were going to go and threatened to leave and take half the shop with him if they brought my husband back after a short layoff when Covid first hit. They opted to move my husband to another department to try and keep peace instead of letting the other guy go. My husband meanwhile found another job instead of returning since he felt like they let him down after he’d been there 20+ years. Now the prima donna has quit because something else didn’t go his way and the company’s owner called my husband personally to ask him to come back.

Should be interesting since the only way my husband would even consider it would be with an over $8 an hour raise from what he was making, giving him ALL of his 20+ years of seniority back, 3 weeks of paid vacation plus a few other things or they can continue to kiss his ass. We’ll see what happens. Lots going on but either way he wins since he’s paid well where he’s at now and would be perfectly happy staying where he’s at. Meh, meanwhile is it 5 yet?
