اللي استحوا ماتوا هو من الأمثال والحكم الشعبية التي تضرب للتهكم من المواقف المخلة بالعادات والتقاليد وقلة الحياء، وباللهجة المصرية يقال (اللي اختشوا ماتوا)، وقصة هذا المثل هي أنه في أيام المماليك في مصر ولم تكن البيوت فيها حمامات، وقد انتشرت الحمامات العامة فذهبت ثلّة من السيدات إلى أحد الحمّامات العامة، وحدث أن اندلع حريق في ذلك الحمام الذي ذهبن إليه، فخرجت معظم النساء عاريات من الحمام للنجاة من الحريق، إلّا أن البعض من تلك النسوة الذين استحين من الخروج عاريات، وفضلن الموت على ذلك، ومن هنا جاء المثل الذي يقول (اللي استحوا ماتوا) أو (اللي اختشوا ماتوا). #islamicgeometry #dubai #alain #art #uea https://www.instagram.com/p/B8vvJ_KJJhr/?igshid=wuqqp8a6aze1
