I can’t believe you’re going to be five tomorrow kid! She’s already talking about how she can’t wait to start school and help me with the baby when she arrives in a few weeks. His voice was barely above a whisper, he’s just as scared as I am. I don’t know why, but I didn’t let Alex into the bathroom this time. I don’t know it just felt like I needed to take the tests alone. I looked down to see pregnant in bold letters silently staring back at me. I should be excited, this is what we’ve always wanted. But when you’ve had 4 big yeses in eight months alone all turn to no before you even hit the 12 week mark, a yes is scary as hell. We stopped trying a couple of years ago when we adopted Anahi, but having her with us gave us so much joy we decided to try making our family larger again. Why did we decide to put ourselves through all this mess again?...
