          That…was the last thing she’d expect to hear out of anyone’s mouth. Especially hers, gods knew the Isle wasn’t too easy on anyone who showed the slightest emotional vulnerability. Even still–

Slowly a soft smile spread over his lips as he reached out, pulling her into his arms for a hug before saying softly. “Am I to think of him as your newest pet or something more dear sister?”

Harper sat up with a gasp as her sister woke her, breathing heavy. She ran a hand through her hair before glancing over at Marla. Goddesses weren’t meant to have nightmares, were they? It seemed so odd, considering she couldn’t recall it happening before.

“If you don’t mind.” Marla inclined her head regally. “I have missed you Anna.” She sat on Anna’s bed, crossing her legs. “Have you been alright thus far?”

Anna smiled shyly as she let the door close behind Marla and walked over to sit on the bed as well. Even off the isle, especially off the isle, she still wore her usual layers, but her bright colours shone much more now that she was in a cleaner environment.

“I missed you too, Marla. I was glad when you got to leave though, it meant you were safe.” at the question she nodded. Her shoulder still ached from the wound her mother made before she left but other than that, and the avoidance the AK’s did at times, she was fine.

Rage filled him as the guards held him back, his father had been subdued, the fight having long left the older man. He’d accepted defeat, passed his revenge onto his sons. One of which was being taken from them. “GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!”

They were taking his brother. His baby brother. The only person in the entire world that he actually cared for, not that he’d ever admitted it. Yet the sight of him being dragged out of their rundown home had him fighting like he’d never fought before. Already he’d taken down four guards, five of them now holding him back as he tried to break through to him. “LIAN YU!!!”
