humanity & loyalty & promise
Humanity
A word that not only referred to the quality of being human, which Elladora certainly still was, but being benevolent. Of having compassion for others, a trait that was better suited for her sister than herself. Or, more importantly, in her line of work, the quality of being merciful. She concerns herself not with whether or not people might considering her a monster or not for staining her hands red, and not being filled with the tiniest ounce of regret. The girl did everything for her family, for her brother and sister, and that was worth sacrificing her humanity for.
Loyalty
She is loyal to her family, above all else, but is also loyal to the Senate. She is one of them, their executioner - a title that she bears well, a title that suits her instead of the ones that other seem to give her. Loyalty is the biggest value to her, one that is worth practically everything. Although her loyalty towards her family is driven out of love and blood, while the former’s driven out of goals and collective wants. And while some may frustrate her, she will not kill them. It goes against her nature, the very core of who she is.
Promise
However, promises are a different story. They aren’t quite tied to loyalty, but rather the assurance that one will follow through with something. She will keep some promises, drop others, and even backstab through them. It depends who she is talking about these promises with. But there are her own promises, above else, that she has to keep. And miles to go before she will no longer be tied to them.
