Baker Island Light, Islesford, Cranberry Isles, Maine. The first lighthouse on the small island was maintained by William and Hannah Gilley. There they raised twelve children, tended large gardens, and made their own clothing from the wool of the flocks of sheep they kept. Baker Island was also home to the family's numerous cows, pigs, ducks and chickens.

I went on an incredible mini 5 day vacation with my best friend up to her summer home. It was a great adventure, but I'm definitely happy to be home. I can't wait to go back to work Monday, I miss all the kiddos😭 there's definitely no place like home!
