I finished knitting this shirt a few months ago, but never posted my FO pictures! I love how this shirt turned out and it's so comfortable. The yarn is 100% linen, so it's machine washable and will only get softer with wear. It's so comfy and cool.

Continuing my work on my Islet Tee! It's fully seamed, and I have picked up for the neckline. I'll get a good picture when I cast off. It's a lightweight linen shirt that will be great for spring.
It's turning out just perfectly, and I am thrilled.

I'm getting a head start on #FinishItFebruary this year by finally seaming up the pieces of my Islet Tee. I cast off in early December, or maybe even November, and have been putting off the seaming process. I don't mind seaming. I just haven't ever done it for a garment of this size and yarn weight, so I was nervous.
I took a deep breath yesterday and got started. I'm using a mattress stitch across the board, and it's going well. I'm sewing on the sleeves first, and then the side seams will be done all in one go from cuff to hem. So far, so good, but it's hard to photograph in a comprehensible way.

I'm working on the sleeves of my Islet Tee two at a time. It's a technique I have never done before. It's going well, but I'm not sure it's something I will do in the future. It takes so much longer to make progress when I'm working on both sleeves at once.

If you look closely, you can see the two rows of brown I did last night while knitting in low light. I don't need to look at this much, but apparently my yarns look too similar because I sorely messed up two rows of intarsia without noticing until now. 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Time to tink. At least it's only two rows.

I'm a big boy, and I did a swatch for my shirt. I'm hoping to make a raglan using some Shibui Reed that I got on sale and the Islet Tee pattern by Tatsiana Matsuik. I didn't do a huge number of rows, but I'm did a big tube to get a good idea of my stitch gauge on two different needles. Just threw it in the wash and we'll see how it looks and measures when it comes out.
The first panel of my Islet Tee is growing! I'm taking advantage of the flat construction to attempt some intarsia for the ribbed detail along the sides. It's tricky with the linen, and I am just hoping a good run through the washing machine will even out my stitches.
I have gone from never doing intarsia to two intarsia projects going at once!
My chronic fatigue is kicking my butt right now. I've mostly been sleeping or just laying down in the dark, which doesn't leave much room for knitting, unfortunately.

Close-up on the raglan decreases for my Islet Tee. I have actually finished the back panel and cast on for the front panel. Now I have to attempt to match my stripes exactly, so that they'll seam together nicely.
