It does seem a little short sighted on druck's part to lean into this love triangle -square. It seems like an unnecessarily long winded route to get to get to the core of any possible plot.
Hi, anon,
I don't like love triangles and I avoid them if it is possible, the best love stories read are not love triangles and yes, at this point I don't even see the plot but I just go with the flow.
Ismail seems very evasive to me. He avoids any conversations about himself or how he feels about anyone. Maybe he is still figuring out himself, it’s hard to talk with someone about your feelings if you are not sure about them yourself .
I think these are the roles of Lou and Sascha in this story, the thrill of dangerous things versus the need for tranquility and security. Also Ismail doesn't react enough and don't voice what he wants, I would like to see him really asking for what he wants the way Lou does.
