My first PSD for you guys, this psd isolates greens and sometimes yellows while turning any other color black and white. Please do not redistribute or claim as your own.
Step 1. Make/open your GIF/image, sharpen it, and apply whatever colouring you want (optional).
Step 2. Go to the half circle button below your layers palette and click Hue/Saturation.
Step 3. Decide what colour you want to isolate, and choose that colour from the dropdown menu that currently says Master.
I'm using green, so I select green.
Step 4. Increase the saturation of that colour. You can go back and adjust it later, so it doesn't really matter how much at this point.
Step 5. Go to every other option in the dropdown menu other than master and the colour you're isolating and reduce the saturation to 0%.
Step 6. Once you've done that, go back to master and increase the saturation a little bit. Use your best judgment.
Step 7. If you want to enhance it even more, go to the half circle button again and select Selective Color.
Step 8. Go to the isolated colour in the dropdown list and then adjust the Black setting to lighten or darken the colour. I usually darken it to make the colour stand out more.
