i just booked a flight-

i’m going nowhere...

GRABTHATASSAND -spread them legs

spit apologies for misogyny that never ends

fk alright, it’s just us and the night

a swarm of monkeys up to do nothing right

just tussle and fight over snacks and food (crap tissue :D)

react and move: the whole world’s overheating

between being beaten black and blue

and catching “flu”

and champing at the bit to get back to over-eating

and acting like no-one’s bleeding

while some keep repeating advice that no-one’s heeding

“everything you do comes back on you”

i just want to - find a way forward

digest all the mess that says we can’t all live

delight in isolation. deny my situation

estimate approximation of a spore’s drift

and imagine i’m immune up in my fortress

battling off a zombie army in a forklift

providing fuel for the mass to go light their torches

to getting massacred, crawling backwards, slightly awkward

nursing my wounds, cursing the few

and wishing i had

the height

and the right

and the might

to own - everything in sight

as my personal view.
