Fuyumi could feel her mind slowly slipping away. She knew she’d had too much to drink. She rarely drank anyway, so she was bound to know it would have quite a significant effect on her. She swayed slightly as she took a step forward, her hazy eyes trailing around the room and observing the people there.

She knew she should go home, but the voice of logic was pushed to the back of her head and drowned in the alcohol she had consumed. Her eyes continued to roam, and she became so distracted that she didn’t notice someone until she bumped into them. She let out a somewhat slurred apology, looking up at the poor person she’d managed to run into them.

She was met with the sight of a girl. A cute girl, dare she say. She stared at the other woman for a moment, before her mind went blank. Before she knew what she was doing, she had taken a step closer to the other, her arm slowly sliding around her neck as she tugged the girl down to her height. Her lips slowly brushed against hers. The kiss was chaste, slow, and still somewhat timid despite Fuyumi’s clear error in judgment. She eventually pulled away from the other’s lips, her hands dropping to her sides. “You’re cute,” where the simple words she uttered, without her habitual stammer.
