3) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 23, give me line 17. “-stitute away from Oxford, from Cambridge, from London. It”
10) What was the last lie you told? That I would have stopped my younger brother from going to his friend’s last night because he’d caused me a boatload of anxiety via being a brat. It wasn’t a lie at the time, but it became less true later.
15) How do you vent your anger? ranting.
20) Do you believe in ghosts? How about aliens? no to ghosts; yes to aliens–there have to be other peeps out there somewhere (although I don’t buy into the roswell/area 51 mythos at all).
33) What’s the last thing you purchased? Book haul from the local bookstore: Nikos Kazantzakis’ Zorba the Greek, Catcher in the Rye, Terry Pratchett’s Small Gods, Robert Alter’s Literary Commentary to the Bible, Elaine Pagels’ The Gnostic Gospels, and a Tolkien short stories compilation.
42) You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. a) Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? b) What do you do with your remaining days? c) Would you be afraid? I’d tell everyone; I would feel bad if I didn’t. I’d spend my last days trying to do something that would leave people with good memories of me; heaven only knows exactly what that would be. I would be terrifically afraid.
55) You can re-live any point of time in your life. The time-span can only be a half-hour, though. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again? that time I went into the rotunda of the Library of Congress and read their theology collection.
57) You have the opportunity to sleep with the music-celebrity of your choice. Who would it be? not terribly interested in this opportunity; I need to know someone really well before I even want to hug them. strong pass.

It’s like his face split in half to make the twins?? I mean like if you morphed their faces together you’d get your dad

I’m not on tumblr enough to see most of your interactions but I’ve seen enough to know that I support this
AS WELL YOU SHOULD. It’s great, and Megan is great, and we are the actual mutual pining/slow burn romance from the fanfics.
Did you ever get yourself a copy of the last hunt?
*responds three months later because reasons*
No, actually, I didn’t! I’ve kind of put the hunt for the Last Hunt (heh) on a back burner for now because holidays and also writing projects and stuff, but if, on the off chance you’re still following me and see this post, by some miracle, and you want to chat about this impossibly hard to find book/if the offer still stands, I will gladly work something out with you off anon come January?
bro, bernie sanders has a snapchat? what is it??
It’s bernie.sanders. Enjoy!

Personally I think it would he kaladin blurting out his feelings with people around
mmm the thing is that while they’re both guarded, Kaladin... well for one, he generally stands to lose a lot more by virtue of being in a lower class; for another he’s particularly restricted in how much he lets other people - anyone - know who he cares about most. Understandable, given his past. Renarin’s really restricted in talking about himself and his own struggles/problems, but more expressive about his family? and I think that would translate to being slightly more likely to blurt out romantic feelings.

A lot of my crushes have been me going “do I like anyone? Do I like that person?” And then I think about how I might like them until I actually like them
You’re not the first person who’s described that experience to me, and I think I might have done it in high school, but now it’s just... I can’t get past the first stage of the question without freaking out over the idea of possibly ruining an existing friendship by ‘making it weird’? My social circle is constricted enough that there’s no one with enough distance to make a crush ‘safe’ to foster.
