So… here’s the thing: I’m not so good with words in matters like this. I could write a long-winded essay of what I think could help you, but I have never gone through it myself. I admit openly that I don’t understand suicidal compulsions, and I don’t think I ever will.

However, you’ve been one of my favorite artists in the entirety of the world-wide web, and I figured I’d express my thanks for you being here for as long as you have. Frankly, I’m kind of angry at myself for not doing this sooner. Considering what you’ve just gone through, I decided not to take any chances. Whether you like it or not, you are admirable to me. You’re a fellow artist and wlw, and that alone, to me, makes you a hero. I will remember you, in your own prosperity and your grievances. You can try as you might to take away that hope, to convince me how terrible you are, but not even knocking on death’s door will dissuade me. So please, don’t try it again.

You don’t have to respond to this directly. I just wanted to give you thanks for being a good person and inspiration to me, in case… well, in case you try again. I’ll be damned if I let someone special like you lose the chance to see how grateful I am to have known you and your work. I’ll also respect if you want to keep this for your eyes only.
