I just saw an Anon ask about Vision and Wanda if they still continue their affair if Vision didn't try to make her pregnant. And the fact that they still might continue it regardless of Wanda's reason (which is just sex) it makes it more worst and hurts even more. I'm thinking if that didn't happen at all and Vision started to persuade Wanda throughout their affair to be with him or let him into her life not just for sex. What will make Wanda realize or stop this crippling disease they're having or will she let what they have to blossom? I thought I moved on from this I guess I'm not :<

I think I remember that ask and I think my answer was even if Vision didn't try to put a baby in her, Wanda would've eventually stopped.

Like I said in that ask, anything based on just sex and selfishness would eventually run its course. It just happened for her sooner because fear of getting pregnant made her realize what she's doing has severe consequences that would lead to losing R. I don't think Wanda would've been able to continue compartmentalizing her life. As this was originally inspired by the movie (Unfaithful), in my head, if the pregnancy scare didn't happen, Wanda will eventually realize how much her double life is hurting R (with or without her knowledge) and she can't have that.

Starting part 2 of In Silent Screams, at the beginning, there are hints of Wanda being annoyed with Vision, she just kept getting distracted by the sex.

Hello! I apologize because I'm sure you get this question often. But I'm new to your work and I have a question after reading this section:

"She goes as far as asking herself if she simply misses having a cock inside of her, the thought nagging at her especially when Vision stays firmly inside her, holding her in place as he spills into a condom. She flutters around him a few more times before she slackens in his hold."

Is that why Wanda cheated on R? Because she missed sex with a man?

Probably tmi here, but that's one of my worst fears in a relationship since I am a female.

no it's not just that. I wrote that to portray Wanda's own confusion about the whole thing. Because when you read ilgoss, it gets asked a lot and for the longest time(before we get to therapy), wanda really has no idea why she did it, only that she regrets it a lot and wish she never did it in the first place.

It's a valid fear tho for people who fall in love with straights(who turns for you) and BIs i think. I mean, it's a common fear ive heard.

Angst AU where wanda got pregnant with Vision's child and forcing R to stay because having kids is what they "want" in the first place. Now that she's preggo they can have they "family" thing. Demanding R to parent her affair child. A VERY toxic wanda who never really woke up on her fantasy. (Vision's out of the picture because wanda found out about the recording and threatened vision to never show his face again or he's going to prison idk)

Just a thought because why not? Hehez 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

That's an interesting take, but I won't be able to write a version of Wanda who would be toxic like that. It will ruin this Wanda I created (yes, despite how ugly she looks in In Silent Screams) and I love her very much.

If (a huge if) I write an AU about Wanda being pregnant, she will be the same Wanda who's just desperate for R's forgiveness and who will eventually learn that maybe the best way you can have a person back is by letting them go :)

i remember sprinting through ILGOSS because of how heart wrenching it was and how i wanted to stop hating wanda bc it was driving insane, then you go and undo it all and ALSO manage to revive my hatred for vision, who i tried to forget existed and was almost successful.

anyways, your writing continues to impress and it's always a delight to have you in my notifications with a new chapter <3

ps. have you thought of writing about how Nat and R reconciled? that had me driving up the wall bc it was so heartbreaking to read how R lost everything bc of her own actions and even though i understood where nat was coming from it still felt awful that she would just cut R from her life like that, definitely want to see them talk things through :]

To be honest, it was a hard decision to write In Silent Screams because it will re-open old wounds, I knew people would question their decision to forgive Wanda in ILGOSS, but In Silent Screams wasn't aiming to do that, it's just revealing what has already happened that wasn't shown in In Flames.

Not gonna lie, In Silent Screams is the most uncomfortable series I've ever written, like, I knew it was going to get violent reactions because I had violent reactions in some parts while writing them.

Thank you so much for powering through, and for saying those wonderful things about my writing :) I guess I sort of... got what I was going for? Stories about affair should make us feel angry and icky because affairs ruin lives. I have a friend so deep into being the other woman and I even contemplated un-friending her because it bothers me.

Thanks also for thinking about my feelings with regards to everyone's reactions. It's really fine, and I won't hold anything against anyone because you should be able to express everything you feel towards a story :D

For me there was no manipulation because Vision was looking for Wanda and she never stopped him

there is plenty of manipulation and gaslighting, especially in part 2, but it doesn't remove Wanda's responsibility over her own actions.

You all read in flames and it was hinted that wanda was really into the affair. It's the same in ISS, only this time, the audience gets front seat rows to gritty details of the affair.

i just read ISS part 2 and loved it! But i was wondering if Wanda was pregnant with Vision’s kid, what do you think her life would look like? i personally don’t think reader would’ve gotten back with her, but where do you think Wanda would’ve been at?

This AU you're talking about is the one that some of my readers, including @jlsammy24 are also curious to see. If I make Wanda pregnant with Vision's kid, I will also have to kill off Vision and ILGOSS will be a courtroom drama with 2-3x more angst.

I really can't say if R wouldn't have gotten back with her if she was pregnant because I haven't seen everything happen in my head, and well, anything can happen. But it will probably be a harder journey, or we may end up alone, or with Yelena, I really can't say...
