The Creature has taken the offensive!
I have a question regarding Sonic the Hedgehog Online #249 in page 20. During the self-destruct countdown of Mech-Sally, in the panel where the number showed 3 seconds remaining, when Sonic pushed the button, Tails and Uncle Chuck were seen extending their arms, as if trying to stop him. Were they not ready to use the deroboticizer yet? Was the apparatus not assembled completely or not tested for guaranteed safety? In what context should we understand that panel?
As we saw earlier in the issue, the deroboticizer was a rush-job at best. Uncle Chuck and the others would’ve preferably liked more time to fine-tune it, but time wasn’t a luxury they could afford when Mecha Sally was seconds away from exploding.
Sonic the Hedgehog Online #249 is released! Unfortunately we weren't able to finish the trailer in time, but you'll still get to see it after the fact. For now, enjoy the epic Mecha Sally conclusion!

1. Why did Metal Sonic tell Mecha Sally to self-destruct and 2. Why did he need a password to do it?
1. As a distraction. Metal knew he couldn’t win the fight in his damaged condition, so he made sure that Sonic’s attention would be diverted elsewhere while he made his escape.
2. Eggman’s machines have been shown to run on vocal commands in the past.
Issue 249 showed that Silver apparently lost control of his powers again. Is his lack of control tied to his emotional state or will there be another explanation?
Yes, Silver panicked in 249 and lost control of his powers. As we’ve seen during his fight with Enerjak, being emotionally unstable tends to affect his Psychokinesis.
Why didn't Sonic and Sally kiss at the end of 249?
I'm sure Sonic wanted to, but he's enough of a gentleman to know that making romantic advances on someone who's in a very fragile emotional state is NOT a good idea.
Wait...250’s an epilogue? Why?
The Mecha Sally arc was wrapped up in 249, 250 will be the aftermath.
May we get 249, now? It has been so long since 248.
You're in luck, 249 is just about to be released. But still, we ask for your patience with these issues. We cannot stress the amount of work that goes into them, and we need to juggle that with real life responsibilities. They're done when they're done, simple as that.
