I am broken

It has taken everything from me.

I have no time

It occupies all.

I have no life, it controls me.

It keeps me up,

into the early hours of the morning.

my hands are sore,

my eyes burn

my head aches,

I want it to stop.

But it won’t let me.

I want to scream.

Scream out all the words

swirling inside me.

But I will be mocked

for even daring to open my mouth

This may all be a hyperbole,

but damn.
