I currently have two roommates. One who is female and my best friend. The other is a male that she is basically with. I’ve known her for years and I just recently met him. They’ve known each other for a little over a year. They are basically a couple without a title.
I’ve noticed that when we are all three hanging out, he tends to stay all over her, as though to prove a point or to make me jealous. I have a girlfriend and I am not at all interested in my female roommate like that. There has been times that I’ve stated something (shit that I actually know, no less) and he goes to ‘look it up’ as though I am stupid and I don’t know anything. He won’t even acknowledge my existence unless he needs something or my other roommate is around.
I get it. I look as though I could be a threat, but I m really not? Do you really think you are so much better than me because you have a penis? It’s honestly to the point it makes me feel hella unwelcomed in this place that I also pay rent for -.-
