4. Own me tied in bed naked for one night

It had been a game. But the spoils claimed had been very real and Graham couldn’t help the frisson of fear that went down his spine as the rope tightened around his wrists. He trusted them both, absolutely, but he did not easily give up control to anyone. They were working in tandem particularly well and he was starting to believe they had planned this, and he had been set up. But why would this be so important to them?

Graham was quiet as he opened the door to the room, it was late, and he did not want to wake the room's other occupant up if he was already asleep. Although it was apparently unnecessary, as Jones was definitely not asleep. He had acquired a large bowl of water from somewhere and stripped to the waist in front of it. He held a cloth in his good hand and was using the wet rag to wash himself.

Graham froze, noting the straps of the the brace for his hook, as well a several scars, evidence of a long and violent life. Jones’ gaze was distant, and he must be pretty distracted not to have noticed him entering the room. Realising he had been staring he shook his head and made to leave again, giving the man his privacy.

"You are loyal to those you care about. And will fight for them and don't give up."

Found at Last || Graham & Killian

Graham took the stairs two at a time, wishing that he and Killian had been able to find something a little more convenient than a 6th floor walk up. But while they did have access to reasonable resources, they also had not known how long their search would take and had not wanted to be wasteful.

It was not like they hadn't slept worse places in the last year, or that they minded the close quarters. But who knows how that might change now they were close to reaching their goal. Time had not diminished his feelings for Emma, but he was also unwilling to sacrifice what he had found with Killian. They had both been avoiding the subject of what would happen next when they actually found her.

Pushing aside those thoughts as he fumbled with his keys, trying to get into the apartment as quickly as possible. Bursting through the door he locked eyes with Killian before sharing his news.

“I found them! Emma and Henry Swan. Apartment 15, 97 67th Avenue, Queens.” He held up the file he now had with a triumphant smile on his face.

Second Meetings || Graham & Hook

Graham was sat in the courtyard of the palace with his brother at his side as he contemplated what to do now. Waking up back home when the last thing he remembered was the agony of having his heart crushed had been a rather confusing experience. He had made his way to Snow White’s palace, assuming that Emma had broken the curse, and wanting to find out what happened.

When everyone’s shock at seeing him had worn off he found that the curse had been broken for some time, but had only just now been completely undone in order to prevent a second curse. And that Emma and Henry, the two people he had most wanted to see again, had been forced to remain in the world without magic.

Regina’s presence as part of the group had taken him by surprise, but then he supposed that if anyone could inspire her to be better, it would be Henry. But what had amazed him was how willingly she had returned his heart. He doubted he would ever be able to forgive her for what she had done, or ever be at ease around her, but he would remain civil as long as she continued to behave.

So free for the first time in so long he debated what to do with that freedom. Snow and James, or David as he was apparently truly named, had offered him a place here, and while he was grateful, he didn’t think he would stay. He longed for the freedom of the woods again, and while he would have happily stayed her for Emma and Henry, without then the palace held no appeal.

He was broken from his thought by the sound of someone approaching him, he rolled up to his feet to find the pirate Regina had sent to kill her mother. He recalled from what he had been told by the others that the man, Hook, had been helping them, but he was unsure what interest the pirate might have in him.

Background Check || Graham & Emma

Graham had been staring at the faxed paperwork in front of him for at least 20 minutes. He hadn't been expecting to actually find anything when he put through the standard background check for new employees. Not that he could really remember having employed anyone before, but he can't have been the only one working here forever, and he had the budget for more staff, so he must have at some point.

He had only put it through to make sure that everything with Emma's hiring was in order. He didn't trust Regina not to cause trouble if there was the smallest bureaucratic error and was not taking any risks. It had taken a while to come through and he hadn't really worried, given he wasn't interested in the results it didn't seem to matter.

But now he did have he results he couldn't exactly ignore them. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, a sealed juvenile record didn't preclude her working in law enforcement, but he would have to at least discuss it with her.

Hearing her returning to the station he called out. "Emma! Have you got a moment?"
