Is This A Zombie? (2011)

Plot: yumu Aikawa is a normal high school boy. One day he is killed by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe. He starts to serve Eu as her guard but he happens to deprive the mahō shōjo Haruna of her magic power. Haruna orders Ayumu to fight against the anti-mahō shōjo system "Megalo" in her place.

Okay, before I put a review here, I have to tell you that this is based on my own opinion and what I like and don't like. So no offense to people who I contradict. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's why this is MY review.
The anime intro started out really good, the drawing is amazing, the cast is good, especially the voice actor for Ayumi(he also voiced Ryuji from ToraDora which I love!). His role was really hard here and I feel sorry for him playing it. Aside from that I don't have anything else nice to say. So stop reading if you love this anime.
The plot is alright, it's the execution that is the problem. You have this protagonist guy who has a harem but gets bullied by them, pyshically and verbally. Sure it may be funny or enticing to some, but it's not a good behavior for me. I am strongly against it. Add the fact that he cross dresses as a magical girl, and could everything else gets ridiculous from there, a ninja vampire, monsters to defeat, and it goes on! It's like a combination of Bleach + Card Captor Sakura + whatever same themed anime you can think of!
I started watching it somewhere by the end of May and I fell asleep on every episode! Mind you, I almost never fall asleep (unless it is really boring). So imagine finishing just one (1) season by force for the sake of finishing the anime. I'll never watch the second season. The anime is filled with fillers because of the lack of good scenes or whatever. A problem gets resolved in a few episodes. I really dislike how this turned out because I expected a lot from the first episode which I love.
I seriously get the reason for the whole story, it's just how it was told that is the problem. Maybe there is an audience for something like this because they did make a second season and OAV.
Would I recommend it? Meh... whatever floats your boat. I'm a weirdo. This is a weird anime, but I am not recommending it. Sorry.
Cosplay plans: Eucliwood Hellscythe but I dunno. I don't feel strongly about this anime to cosplay her. That and add the fact that her costume is half armor. Not really my cup of tea.
