hmmm i know theoretically which characters would be latched onto by ppl for how i characterized them but if i could only make one known. tåsi perhamps. mostly bc tåsi is my most chamoru oc and because i have a lot of commentary id like to promote Through tåsi about appropriation of pasifika and other indigenous cultures within furry spaces and in fandom spaces in general, as well as educate ppl on chamoru culture :3 Yay

my thoughts on dandelion mostly are just how well he works w/ geralt as a foil and as his best friend both in books and the games, and how though geralt teases him he knows that dandelion is seriously competent. the fans can still be shitballs about him, imo, but not to the extent of jaskier specifically. i really like dandelion! hes charming and funny ofc but i also love that he is competent and serious about things That Matter, he dresses like That and hes pretty Learned himself, a fact of which never comes into play in twn. dandelions smart. he went to oxenfurt. let him be smart. his professionalism is also admirable from a playboy like him and i love that he cares for ciri enough to try to rob dijkstra in tw3. whatever. hes cool. hes bisexual. hes rich though you know how it is

jaskier.. god. joey batey is an amazing jaskier/dandelion, i enjoy him thoroughly, but they just Did Him Dirty in ways indescribable. Joey teased that jaskiers arc would be a bit darker in s2 but by the end it was just. that wasnt darker he was just there to walk around look pretty and be the butt of a joke time and time again and he didnt even get a proper apology out of geralt? and they STILL werent equals, hes still walking next to geralt as he rides instead of getting a horse? where the fuck is pegasus man? they really just insinuated that he was in love with geralt through her sweet kiss and the fact that burn butcher burn came from getting his heart broken by geralt, practically just making jaskiers entire deal center around geralt instead of him being like, his own Person. hes not competent. hes barely friends with geralt even before the dragon hunt because geralt is still stuck in his toxic masculinity and his ab armor. he honestly feels like hes just there for laughs instead of having real meaning in the story and real impact on geralt, what the fuck ever. he and yennefer should make out . whatever. i hate it here. but joey batey still does a good job. they should give him even more flamboyant clothing and an actual real role to play in s3 that isnt just cheap stupid laughs. im so mad rn

wait im not done. dandelion is a great foil to geralt in ways where they work and are strong friends because of it, but jaskier and geralt dont work. and thats where so much of the fandoms geraskier content falls apart to me. jaskier and geralt are not Friends, they are Geralt And His Bard Who Is Sort Of Mad At Him But Forgives Him Immediately Anyway And They Just Fall Back Into Their Old Routine Without Finding Equal Ground. and i put eh for overrated because of how hardcore the fandom woobifies him at every turn as well idk people hype up jaskier a lot more in the wrong ways which Irks me, and its very obvious yhat hes just everyones favorite white twink of the day

hi i dont know anything about trigun but i saw someone with "vashw00d shippers dni" on their carrd and youre my only trigun mutual so i was wondering if you knew what was up with that 😭

oh yeah i do. this is a long post hold on because theres a lot of shit here.

basically theres a plotline in the manga only where wolfwood undergoes rapid aging as a side effect to like some serum bullshit where they basically witchered him into becoming a superhuman. so its canon to the manga that nick is younger than he looks.

the problem is though is that people started taking this saying this wolfwood is a full-blown teenager. myanimelist.net lists him as being as young as 14-16 when every single other source lists him as young adult, even his official wikipedia page.

young adult still counts 18-19 though i think, which i think is creepy when vash is physically 24 and biologically ~150 due to being an independent plant (long story-- theyre interdimensional beings who have vastly strong powers that humans use as power plants. theyre also conditional immortals). HOWEVER ive personally calculated wolfwoods age range based off of chapter 50.5 since it explicitly states that wolfwood took care of a baby when he was still at the orphanage he grew up in, who we then see later grown up and around 13 or general teenage years. so hes like. 22-23, 20 when we first meet him.

but since people in the fandom like to believe wolfwood is a teenager (and there are some real freaks in there who also perpetuated this i think), it would Make Sense to put manga vashwood fans on the dni. but i honestly do not know where this came from. if its true i WILL also put manga vashwood fans on the dni. like i dont take this lightly when i make this post while also being somewhat mentally ill about vash & wolfwoods relationship which is why generally i also stick to anime canon vashwood content on here since nicks canonically 26-28 in the anime. its messy. i hate the fandom. my mutuals are the only trigun fans to exist. also what might contribute to it is that vashwood is the most popular ship in the fandom and theres annoying as shit fans

tl;dr theres this idea that wolfwood is a teenager floating around when that isnt the case and also fans of popular ships could just be super annoying

Do you feel that Guam & the Northern Mariana Islands should reunify at any point after gaining independence or that they should continue to be separate similar to that of Lithuania & Latvia (given the Baltic situation bears some commonalities to those & Hawai'i)?

id personally love to see it, i have no idea if itd happen any time soon. with guahån being a territory its divided us greatly over the years. words in finu'chamoru differ whether youre on guahån or on luta and sa'ipan, dialects are different, and i believe there is some sorta... weirdness between guahån and sa'ipan at least (my bio family is from sa'ipan, but my grandmother is from guahån and it is quite. odd. seeing both sides interact. i dont even know how to describe it and it may actually be a family thing but its like very prevalent when we talk about guahån). i think it should be done though. were all che'lu no matter what island were from and i think weve spent too long divided by colonizers in my onion
