It's been a while since I've finished a drawing of this AU. I've had this vision in my head for ages—hourglass slightly tipped over with the brothers inside, separated on either side. And I FINALLY managed to whip it up in reality! Just don't question the logic of the anatomy /j

Really glad I decided to render it. It looked so..incomplete. Bad, to put it lightly lol. It was a struggle at first bc it was lineless and i wasn't used to drawing this format, but I quickly got into the flow of it. Honestly, it was easier to render than place the base colors down

Wanted to add that I haven't drawn realistic-ish glass in ages so it may be a bit rough, but idc. I'm so happy I finally finished !!!

Makes me even more happy to see the difference of quality/skill compared to the original concept :DD (May 2025 vs March 2026)

...should I attempt to redo the original one? 👀

So ummmmm I had an idea for an AU. The big idea is that Raph is stuck in a time loop until he can save his brothers from gruesome deaths because someone is determined to see them dead (who or what i haven’t determined yet)

Not happy w the results (tried to make a chibi style but i just couldn’t get it to look right. Should’ve prob looked at references lol but i was too stubborn), but I didn’t want it to just rot away and since I’ve been struggling making art and thus haven’t posted anything new recently, here you go

Im definitely going to reattempt this though I like the concept

I mean, after a while of seeing your brothers corpses, it starts to take a toll on one’s mental health (this would start occurring numerous Loops in)

Alright I feel bad about ISYIP bc I’ve had like zero motivation for it (mainly for who would be the person responsible, also just making up unique deaths bc I don’t want them all to be the same. That would just get boring fast) so I’m going to write some basic ideas for the story here

Its set a few months after the movie so the Krang trauma is still pretty fresh

They were on a typical patrol when they spotted a strange person who runs away from them into an abandoned definitely not suspicious building. Ofc they follow the person bc what if they’re evil???

Donnie and Leo die :( (rip)

Mikey sacrifices himself to allow Raph to go back in time until he can save them, thus accidentally kinda trapping him in a time loop until he can save them all (only Raph remembers)

I’m wondering since Mikey was able to use his ninpo to create the time loop, maybe Leo and Donnie could somehow incorporate their ninpo to help Raph throughout the cycles?

Already have had thoughts about Donnie implementing a potential AI system that calculates the past failures and shows Raph the path with most likely chance of success (sorta like Raph’s helmet in Donnie’s gifts but there’s no helmet it’s all in his mind). No ideas for how Leo would use his to help Raph yet. Thoughts on this concept? I’d appreciate any and all

I’ll Save You, I Promise Masterpost

When a mission goes terribly wrong and Raph’s brothers are brutally murdered, he wakes up to the day of it happening. Now he’s been given a second chance, and he’s not going to waste it. But a second turns into a third, fourth, fifth…. Trapped in an infinite timeloop until all of his brothers survive, it would be a whole lot easier if his brothers would just listen to him and take things seriously.
