KNB imagine: I’m With You
Imagine Nash encouranging you when you tell him of your struggles with finding a job.
You let out a sigh for hundreth time as you scroll down your laptop. There is something troubling you and Nash, who is lying on the bed watching TV, isn’t entirely sure how to approach you. He tries to ignore you, but with every sigh that leaves every minute, it quickly grows into annoyance.
Standing from the bed, he approaches and embraces you from behind. You startle, but relax when his scent reaches your nose and his lips trail over the back of your neck. A small smile creeps on your lips and you melt into his embrace, leaning backwards.
You sigh, but this time in satisfaction and bliss before a frown masks your face, when Nash speaks: “What’s troubling you?”
You manage to pull away and turn your head, but he turns you on the chair and holds your chin, facing you directly. His blue eyes stare into you and you feel captivated, knowing he won’t back off until you tell him.
“Mom told me about a job at the bar before...” You start and avert your gaze, but not for long as you feel his grip on your chin loosen. “You know how I want to work, but I can’t stand it. I feel awkward with people and get really uncomfortable on times. I keep thinking they judge-”
You feel lips on your own and your eyes widen.
Nash pulls away. “You’re perfect and I’ll keep telling you that until it sticks in that pretty head of yours. Whatever you choose, I’ll be by your side.” He speaks and tugs a strain of hair behind your ear. He smiles softly as he stares into your eyes. “You need to start somewhere, we both know that, and if it means being a bartender or a waitress, then be it.”
This time you turn your head and sigh, closing your eyes. “I know. It’s just that I’m afraid.”
“We all are at one point.” Nash admits, searching for your gaze. “But we need to break the ice somewhere. If you wish, I can pick you up after you end.”
Looking back at him, you smile. “I think I could manage that.”
OMG THIS TOOK ME OUT 💀
so i have a random question
there's atheism, which not believing in god,
there's being agnostic where you aren't sure
but like, I believe that whether or not a god exists and this deity's actions is irrelevant to how i live my life and the choices I make, because there's no way to prove for certain any involvement on any deity's part.
Because of this possible deity's irrelevance, i don't care if they exist or not. It does not change the way the world operates.
Is there a word for not caring, religiously?
"The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?"
"It protects my head."
The truest words I have ever heard:
"Free tastes better."
It's 8:30 on a Saturday and I'm going to sleep. Good times.
