Something about today feels off. Feels...like something special is about to happen. Steve stops, rubbing his chin. What, pray tell, could be happening? A tell-tale little rustle from the inside of his coat-pocket tips him off. Gingerly reaching into the inside pocket of his jacket, he pulls out the egg he’d purchased from the shop. He could feel something rustling around in there! He places it in cupped hands, watching it with intense curiosity. 

One push. Then another. Finally...a tear in the leathery shell. What the hell?

A baby snake! And, a quick glance at the snout and eyes and Steve can tell this is going to be a big son of a gun when it grows up.

“Ohhhhhhhhh myyyyyy goooood you are the cutest little thing!” He’s completely infatuated with it now. His own little pet snake!
