honestly don’t believe that many on here really care about climate change because nearly the only thing i see people say about it is the “it has nothing to do with me, i’m not the 1% >:(“ posts. yeah just ignore whatever you can do to contribute just to feel nice but don’t claim to care, then. the thing is that we need a big radical change in societal structure in order to keep us from dooming the earth, and that includes you, it includes everyone. we need to stop wasteful consumerism, stop buying useless shit and reconsider our lifestyles (instead of buying new things, reuse, share with others, or create them ourselves), stop consuming meat and dairy, stop having cars and instead rely on communal methods of getting around, etc etc etc. this is what the future has to look like whether you like it or not, and if we all show some fucking solidarity and do our parts it will bring social change. even if you don’t believe you doing these things will help (it will) it is still good preparation for the future when this will all be 100% necessary
