How does one cope with the rejection..?

When he sent you mixed signals after the confession like holding you, kissing you and the next day he’s back to his ex.. while you are just... such a mess.. trying to understand what happened and why he did that and gave you hope.. while you cry your eyes out in your room he only texts he’s sorry and that he loved her so much.. and the next thing he just messages you casually and asks if we are going to meet.. I am so done with this I just want to disappear and erase him from my mind.. and after I finally cried myself to sleep the next thing after waking up is his message asking if we are going to meet today.. while his profile picture is his gf photo.. why are you doing this to me..really..
