I keep seeing those black Jojo edits going around, and I’m not black, but I think this might be a good time to confess that for reasons unknown to me before I read part 4 I just kind of assumed Josuke was black? I honestly, legitimately have no idea why. Like, I’d seen pictures of him and I knew who his parents were, but my brain was just kinda like “Ah yes, Josuke. The black Jojo. Good kid.” and it took me a while to get it into my head that he isn’t. To this day I really just don’t know where I got that idea but ngl, there’s still a part of me that’s slightly disappointed.
