Tho Düse + Markos and Maxi + Lilian become mated pairs. Mated pair bonds are stronger than the bonds in a normal human relationship. Freya and Erik become a mated pair too, tho there is a lot of healing they both need to go through first. Klette and Nerv have the potential for a mated pair, but I am little on the fence about it being mostly form Klette's side, where Nerv is not that attached.

Ok I have been contemplating on how to answer this for a minute now and I knew someone was bound to ask sometime. I have many, many reasons why I ship them but at the same time I don’t think anyone really cares to hear them, I think whatever I say it will get drowned out by “but they are brothers.” And yes I do ship them, but they are fictional characters. If you think I ship real life siblings, I do not.
