Fun fact: Season of the Hunt began its life as the first chapter of a standard historical romance novel that I wrote as an extra credit assignment for a Romance Fiction class I took in college. The memory of whose syllabus I am on occasion violently seized by.

This included but was not limited to: Sense and Sensibility, an "inspirational" romance with a firefighter hero, a modern BDSM fairytale retelling, AND ALSO

If you're wondering, why yes that is a mlm sci-fi regency romance, and that is a dragon-shifter menage-a-tois romance next to the venerable likes of Johanna Lindsey and Kresley Cole. Did I keep these books? No. Am I glad to have taken this class before TikTok? Absolutely, yes.
