anyways adam was king of a small population similar to the size of just a village ( and didn’t even rule it for many, many years since he and his staff/guests were cursed ), he wasn’t omnipotent by any means. getting elected high king required a majority vote from other royals/rulers that now make up the regions of auradon, and he couldn’t have possibly been aware of every single villain from every single person’s story aside from his own. his fear and his rage wasn’t his alone. and the creation of the isle could have been dealt with sooner if the other rulers spoken up and overpowered him. but they didn’t. it wasn’t one man behind the creation of the isle, it was many, many other figures who played a hand in it, whether they contributed or did nothing to stop it.
