Conspiracy Theory: 5 egg nests

They said today that it's happening less than intended.

My theory is that they quietly turned the number down to 4 when the economy began to tank, in hopes that it might spare them some time to work on other problems and help stave off the market bottoming out.

This isn't too different than how the water is controlled at Niagara falls; 

There's water pouring year round, but during the tourist season, they turn up the flow. At night, it's turned down. It currently erodes at a rate of 1 foot a year. If it weren't diverted, it would recede by 10 feet a year and would be gone entirely in as little as 2 thousand years. *gasp* 

But since this is just about dragons and a few thousand players, I'm sure the FR staff would assume they could attempt to make things last. I honestly wouldn't hold it against them if this is the case. If they DID happen to be doing it, then what's the worry about that many eggs? From what most of us can tell, no one's really having any, and we're probably a lot better off without getting them. 

If it were me, I probably would have attempted the same thing, and then if people started asking more often or getting suspicious, I'd turn it back up... a little.

I think Andrea should have kept Milton talking. He would still go silent and turn but then I would be prepared.
