Hugs
„What are you moping about?“ Darren asked, a little smile tugging at the corner of his lips when he looked over at his friend.
“I don´t know what you´re talking about.” Joe was trying really hard to put on a smile and Darren momentarily wondered how he had become such a good actor.
“I´ve known you for years Joe, and right now you´re looking like someone kicked your puppy.”
“I don´t own a puppy.”
Darren raised an eyebrow and shot him another Tell me or I´ll make you look.
They stared at each other for a moment, until Joe muttered something inaudible. Darren shook his head and brought his face closer, coming to a stop only a few inches away from Joe.
“Say that again?”
Joe groaned in frustration. “You.hugged.Joey.”
Darren looked taken aback for a moment and then smiled. “Are you jealous?”
“…not.”
Darren´s smile just got wider. “Oh you are. No need to be though, I hadn´t seen Joey in a while and I see you every week, if not day.”
Joe bit his lip and glared at Darren, who was still incredibly close.
“But if it makes you feel better…” he didn´t even finish his sentence but leaped forward, burying Joe under him.
They fell to the ground with a loud Thump and Joe almost had the air knocked out of his lungs. “I take it back!” he breathed through his laughter but Darren just held on tighter.
“No chance buddy, you called for it!”
