Hi! I wanted to ask for some advice if that’s ok—I saw that you’re interested in studying astrophysics (cool as hell btw), and personally I’d love to minor in physics myself but math isn’t my strong suit. My question is, do you think I should go for it regardless? I’ve always loved the subject and so I’m willing to at least try. Thanks so much!
sure!
now, this is just my opinion, but honestly, passion exceeds talent no matter the circumstances. ergo, if you’re not strong in maths but you enjoy physics enough to persevere through the trickier math aspects of the subject, then i think you should absolutely go for it!! in all likelihood, your maths skills will improve as you progress through physics. i know mine definitely have, because physics provides application for both algebra and calculus and allows me to understand why certain concepts work the way they do. with physics, there’s also the advantage of being able to check your maths by using the logical reasoning that applies the physical world (ex. you know that time cannot be negative, so if your calculations have given you a negative value for time, you know to rework your maths!)
anyway. i’m rambling on. but, good luck in your physics endeavours! it’s a wonderful subject ☺️
kidjin I love you
““Hehe, I love you too!!”
(Oooh, I think this soft boy has a crush on a certain someone! *wink**wink**nudge**nudge*)
you’re going to hell for that last ask why would you make me read that!
those are the facts 😳
