Yeah Mike's gonna be upset about the painting lie, but what about Will getting big time mad cuz Mike lied by omission?

Will can't be fully blamed for pushing mildew together and lying in the van, when Mike never told Will directly what the fight between him and El was about. He doesn't know the details of Mike making El cry and feel unloved or El invalidating Mike's experience with bullies. He doesn't know privately mildew is miserable and faking it in public. He doesn't know Mike couldn't say he loves El back in Lenora cuz Mike wants him instead, Will Byers.

So yeah Will lied to Mike but Mike lied 1st by hiding important information about mildew's sinking ship during a majority of Byler's heart to hearts.

And lying by omission literally means failure to correct pre-existing misconceptions - something Mike has unintentionally done in aiding Will's unreliable narration since s3's fallout/makeup.

Sidenote: who's ready for their verbal showdown cuz both Mike and Will have some great comebacks when it comes to dissing. Judgmental almost boyfriends turning on each other with receipts of being mistreated in their childhood dynamic? S5 hurry up for drama's sake!

Nah, Hiro. And maybe Baymax. In the movie there was so little about gogo or most of the other characters tbh I think it'll be a little difficult to write about them without crossing the OOC line. :/
