Basically where I'm at with Regina's character after this rewatch: Pretty Much Everyone: Hey, don't do the thing. If you do the thing you'll have a hole in your heart forever and I care about you so I don't want that to happen. Regina: Imma do the thing and fuck over several of you in the process. Also Regina: No one has ever cared about me and I have this hole in my heart that can't be filled which I am in no way responsible for.
