Trapped!

I….kinda want to subject some characters to a timeshare seminar? I don’t know who, exactly. Nor do I know how they find themselves attending such a presentation but. Yeah. Forced to sit through the sales pitch, with no means of escape.

(You know what, I’m gonna mix it up. Paranormal Detectives AU. They’re investigating a possible greys infestation. It leads to a suspicious four star resort hotel. They enlist the aid or Lilo, Stitch, and Nani. Chaos ensues.)

I keep opening up this old Endeavour WIP, I'm tempted to start posting it as the first chapter doesn't need anything doing to it. Still needs a title though...

It's set after S9 and is some catharsis by way of hurt/comfort. Here's a little snippet:

“Fred?” Win stood in the doorway to the living room, her arms wrapped around herself as her worried eyes met his. Phone calls this late at night rarely brought good news, and Fred was retired now, had been for a good few months. No longer should he be getting work calls about whatever godforsaken crime had been committed. It was no wonder she’d left her programme to check up on him, he’d hung up on Jim nearly a minute ago and had yet to move from the phone, lost in his thoughts and paralysed as to what to do about them. It wasn’t his place any more, hadn’t been for a while now, and yet every fibre in his body was telling him to pick up his coat and hat and go out the front door. “That was Jim,” he explained quietly. “Everything alright?” He was worrying her, he knew he was, knew that her thoughts were probably going to Joan, thinking that something was wrong at home or maybe even Sam, and he quickly sought to reassure her that their children were fine. “It’s Morse.”

I found this book at a very odd time of my life. I'm young, smarter then I do anything with, and have no clue what to do with myself. But I do go to the library often, and this book was there. I wasn't really expecting anything, I just thought the art was lovely. I hadn't heard anything about, and at the time didn't care overly much for anything at all. But this comic, this book, it changed something. First of all, it was incredible. I loved it and didn't know what to do with myself after 1/?

What an incredible note to see after logging into this account for the first time in many years. (1/3)
