Y'know, there is a lot of hate for the Rings of Power, and, imma be honest, I am often on that band wagon. But you know the thing that pisses me off most about the show? It's not the casting, it's not the non-cannon characters, it's not the plot inconsistency, it's not even the cannon divergence. Because, the thing is, if you want to have a show based on a book or something, but make it different and cast a whole new story from it, fine. Go for it. I really have no problem with that. But y'know what just gets me PO'd about that show?? The. Lack. Of. Beautiful. Elven. Hair. Thats it. That's what I hate. You wanna make the elves look different? Diverse? Go for it! But for the love of Tolkien, PLEASE, give them their beautiful Elven locks!!! I need the long flowing hair! I need the little braids! If Glorfindel pops up in this show with Elrond's frat boy, teenager, cropped short hair I am going to start CRYING!! PLEASE!! I BEG YOU!!! GIVE MY ELVES THEIR BEAUTIFUL LONG FLOWING SHIMMERING MOLTEN GOLD LOOKING HAIR!!!!
