So in one of my stories the King fully believes his bloodline is cursed (it's left ambiguous if he's right) and when he realizes that one of his most trusted knights (who happens to have the same colouring as him) is in love with his Queen he sets things up to have them be alone together. The Queen gives birth to a daughter who there is no WAY the king fathered (and eventually a son who he could have) and he declares and raises the daughter as his heir, throwing succession laws out the window

One remarkable little detail in Playmobil: the Movie is that the camera focuses on the clock just before Marla answers the door to find the police standing there.

Why?

Because it shows the memory that gets burned into her brain.

It’s a trauma thing. She glanced at the microwave, sees the time, and then it sticks in her brain. She knows the time that her world came crashing down, and...yeah. Yeah.

ok but really rocky horror is such an... aesthetically pleasing movie. i was thinking about doing a brad majors moodboard (can you guess who my fav is?) and including the creation of adam because of the tenuous ties he and janet have with adam and eve (the scene with the criminologist mentioning brad and janet tasting “forbidden fruit” and also just the general theme of two idealistically pure virgins having an experience that opened their eyes and made them shed their innocence while also entrenching them in sin.... FUCK i can’t believe i didn’t talk about this in my meta) and it didn’t even occur to me until i was trying to figure out other things i could use for it that the movie already HAD the creation of adam in the swimming pool.
