Author’s Note: I can’t believe this is the last chapter. It’s been years since I wrote a story this long, and it’s thanks to Jen (avengersreader on AO3 or @givemesherbet-blog-blog on Tumblr) for the incredible story ideas and prompt. She helped with the destinations John and Sherlock travelled on the way to breaking up Moriarty’s network--many of them she went to (Florida and Paris are the only two places I've been). On the way I learned so much researching the story.
As for the plot, Jen came up with the idea. I love it. We did some brainstorming on the whole topic. Also, I will include my meta notes on why Moriarty would kill himself at the end of this chapter in case anyone was curious about my thoughts on it.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, left kudos and commented on the story. I am pleased with all of the responses (even if I had more bots on this than ever before, which seems to be a recent trend on ao3).
