Without fame in your life, your first and second home loses its light. See I can write too…..
You know, it's something I don't understand but what will Hawks do in his spare time if, as he wishes, the heroes have so much time that they don't know what to do with it?
Relaxing, I assume.
It's very strongly hinted in his introduction that he spent all his life speeding through all possible steps in his career, so much so that he was never allowed room to breathe or to take it easy. Even now that he's an adult and thus should retain some autonomy from the Commission, he still seems to be unable to function without undertaking overwhelming amounts of workload. He has his fingers in every pie on a constant basis. Constantly does overtime. Heck, he was hinted at taking an interest in the League long before he was assigned the infiltration (he took Tokoyami in to have a source of information on the USJ attack, so LONG before the League was even an organized terrorist group). He has no identity outside of work, as also suggested by the fact that he goes by his hero name even on his time off.
The way I see it, the commission drilled that "efficiency" into him through his training, and now that duty as a hero has become so integral to him as a person that he physically cannot stop himself from working till he drops. I mean, no one obligated him to fly across the whole nation to investigate the rumors on the noumus (which even ended up leading nowhere as they were fake sightings). Yet he did.
He craves a world where there is less criminality because he doesn't know how to stop being a hero his every waking moment otherwise.
I'm pretty sure it would take absolutely nothing for me to fall in love with someone. Like, they probably wouldn't even need to be romantic they could just be kinda sorta nice to me and I'd be down for the count.
All right, fuck this - I'm making iPhone covers out of my DC heroes series on Redbubble after I'm done with next week's deadlines. I am broke as hell and I need the extra cash.
