#the legend of vox machina#tlovm spoilers#critical role#cr spoilers#well. uh. well then.#WELL THEN.#I...gotta process.#it's funny.#even knowing what was coming from having watched the stream#and knowing that changes per the adaptation were also going to be a thing#I still wasn't ready?#like I think it all works for the story they've been telling here#the streamlined version of campaign 1#I still don't necessarily like a lot of the questioning the gods stuff that was brought in from campaign 3#and I think the things I don't like are the things that are potentially setting up a campaign 3 adaptation#but that's a whole other kettle of fish we can discuss later#ANYWAY.#now we gotta wait again. that's fine.#I recommend watching or rewatching the stream#listen to it on podcast versions at 1.5 speed (which is what I did)#get an idea of what's coming#because it is gonna HURT.#well. it already hurts. but you get it.#anyway 10/10 good job you disintegrated Vax and broke Keyleth#and now Vecna (because fuck copyright that's who that is we all know it) is loose and everything is awful#which is basically how it went in stream so good job!#I overall like the adaptation and some of the changes and I enjoyed this as much as one can enjoy getting punched in the jugular#but also HOW DARE THEY USE TARY THAT WAY I DON'T LIKE THAT#(this is all very rambly I'm sorry to anyone who bothered to read these)#we can't even use the typical 'this is fine' meme because it most certainly is not
